SAMSUNG has updated its free TV service with a selection of new channels.
The South Korean tech giant offers a huge library of free content through Samsung TV Plus.
This app is built into modern Samsung televisions and offers free ad-supported TV.
Samsung says its library currently includes more than 350 live channels.
On its website, Samsung boasts: “No credit cards. Without contract. No cables.”
This is regularly updated with new channels, so it’s always worth checking out what else you’re getting for free.
The list of five new channels is as follows:
- MLB – focused on Major League Baseball replays and recaps
- PGA TOUR – golf documentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, highlights, recaps and competitions
- AHL – live American Hockey League games
- Formula One Channel – analysis, replays and documentaries for F1, F2, F3 and F1 Academy races
- ONE TV Championship – highlights of combat sports, series and behind-the-scenes television
It’s worth noting that Samsung TV Plus also offers on-demand content.
Samsung claims the app offers “thousands of movies and shows” for free this way.
It says the free streaming service is available on Samsung Smart TVs from 2016 to 2024.
EASY TRANSMISSION!
But that’s not all: you can also watch on Samsung Smart Monitors, Samsung Family Refrigerators Hub and via the web.
It’s also available on Samsung Galaxy smartphones: just check the app or download it if you don’t have it.
“Your Samsung devices come with Samsung TV Plus – Samsung’s free, ad-supported Smart TV video service that gives you instant access to news, sports, entertainment and more,” explained Samsung.
“No subscription, additional device or credit card required.”
Keep in mind that you will need an internet connection to stream.
So if you’re watching on your phone and not using a Wi-Fi network, it will eat into your data allowance.
Your smartphone will also need to run Android 8.0 or later to get the app.
