A SET of flagship Apple AirPods has been slashed in price by a massive $70.

The discount brings the AirPods Pro wireless earbuds to their lowest price ever.

The official Amazon listing price for the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) is $249 — but a new discount drops the cost to $179.99.

That’s a very generous savings of $69.01, or just 28% off.

According to Amazon trackers, the lowest price ever was $179 — so that’s less than a dollar off.

It’s also well below the average selling price of $204.71, according to price trackers.

These wireless headphones offer active noise cancellation to block out noise from the outside world.

You can also switch to a transparency mode that draws in external sound, which can be useful if you’re trying to hear something like a train station announcement.

The headphones automatically connect to your iPhoneand will pause the music if you remove an earbud.

There is custom spatial audio that suits its unique ear shape – and it works through head tracking.

And Apple says the AirPods Pro offer six hours of listening time with noise cancellation turned on.

This increases to 30 hours of total listening time using the charging case.

Apple’s gadget has a score of 4.7/5 on Amazon at the time of writing, based on 16,803 reviews.

A whopping 86% of these were five-star ratings and 7% received four stars.

Only 4% of all buyers who left reviews gave it a single star.
