BEATS is set to launch new entry-level wireless earbuds at the cheapest price yet – increasing its competition with AirPods.
The Solo Buds will cost just $79.99 and this is the first time Beats has offered headphones under $100.
Beats announced its new Solo line in a Press release on Tuesday.
Other versions of Beats headphones include Studio Buds for $149, Studio Buds+ for $169, and Beats Fit Pro for $199.
The new Solo Buds will be available for purchase in June.
Solo Buds colors include matte black, Artic purple, clear red, and Storm gray.
Apple’s AirPods also have three tiers available now at different prices.
The 2nd generation AirPods are $129, the 3rd generation AirPods are $169, and the 2nd generation AirPods Pro are $249.
The two rivals have similar products and prices.
SOLO BUTTON FEATURES
New features to look out for on the Solo Buds are laser-cut ventilation openings on the earcups to help with airflow.
Solo Buds also deliver exceptional call quality with an advanced noise-learning microphone and Class 1 Bluetooth.
They also offer the smallest case Beats has ever made, fully custom acoustic architecture, up to 18 hours of battery life and can be charged on a phone, tablet or laptop on the go.

Beats also launched the next generation of its most popular headphones, Beats Solo 4, priced at $199.
The new Beats Solo 4 offers 50 hours of battery life, can play while charging, has a custom acoustic architecture, and features wired audio for USB-C and an auxiliary jack.
