A big update is coming to a beloved streaming service and it’s completely free, but the feature is only available to Americans.
Pluto TV offers over 250 free channels through its ad-supported platform.
Last year, Pluto TV released an update that added a new home screen with live and on-demand content.
The app has slowly made several major improvements over the years, but has now found a way to make channel navigation easier after carrying out several tests.
Pluto TV now has a new interface – when users press the OK button on the Roku remote when watching a channel, they will see a channel guide button.
Hovering over this will not bring up a new menu that allows you to find other channels while watching the current channel.
“This new Pluto TV interface experience allows viewers to browse channels while watching the content they love in full screen,” Pluto TV said in a statement.
“The Mini Channel Guide shows what’s currently playing on other channels in addition to what’s playing on the channel users are watching now, including important episode details.”
This new feature is rolling out to US viewers first, the service said.
The mini guide covers about a quarter of the screen so as not to distract the viewer from what they are currently watching.
It allows users to quickly scroll through channels to see what is being broadcast.
When it was being tested, the feature was only available to some Roku users, but now everyone can have fun.
This makes browsing channels in the app easier than ever.
Pluto TV is one of the largest and oldest ad-supported streaming services on the market and has always remained completely free.
He is also known as one of the leaders in creating new characteristics for its users as the app is constantly looking for new ways to improve.
