AMAZON revealed some of the best Prime perks you’re not using.
When you think about Prime, fast deliveries and Amazon Video spring in mind – but there are many advantages you may be missing out on.
In a special memo to users, Amazon listed some of the best Prime benefits that are commonly forgotten.
PRIME MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS
First, you can get a discount on Prime itself.
Typically you would pay $14.99 per month (or $139 per year) for Amazon Prime.
But there are some schemes that drastically reduce the cost of your Prime accounts.

Amazon explains: “Prime Access, for example, costs just $6.99 per month for eligible recipients of government assistance, including PHOTOGRAPH EBT and Medicaid.
“Prime Student – another discounted membership – costs $7.49 per month or $69 per year for members enrolled at two- or four-year colleges, which includes additional perks exclusive specifically for students.”
Additionally, new members can try the standard 30-day trial.
And if you want to try Prime Student, eligible members can request a free six-month trial.
So don’t shell out for a full-price Prime membership before trying to claim some of these discounts first.
FREE BOOKS!
Yes, Amazon Prime offers not only free books – but also audiobooks and magazines.
This easy-to-miss perk offers a surprisingly generous list of freebies at no extra cost.
“If you are an avid reader, a Prime subscription gives you access to Amazon First Reads, which allows you to download a newly released book for free every month,” reveals Amazon.
“Furthermore, Prime Reading allows you to borrow 10 titles at a time from a collection of thousands of digital books, audiobooks and magazines.
“Options change frequently, so check out what’s available now.”
HEALTH IS WEALTH
Amazon started as a bookstore, but now sells almost everything – including medicines.
You may not have realized that you can get Amazon Pharmacy benefits as part of your Prime membership.
Amazon explains: “Prime members can sign up for Amazon Pharmacy’s RxPass, which lets you get your eligible medications for as low as $5 per month.
“This program can result in big savings for members on several eligible medications.
“Amazon Pharmacy is making pharmacy better – with advance pricing, free home delivery, and pharmacists available 24/7.”
