The discount is applied to YouTube Premium, the paid version of Google’s video streaming application.

YouTube Premium has a number of benefitsincluding removing ads and watching videos offline.

Typically, YouTube Premium costs $13.99 per month.

But if you have one of Verizon’s myPlan subscriptions, you can reduce that bill by $3.99 per billing cycle.

This reduces the monthly cost to $10 – saving you $47.88 over the course of a year.

Verizon explains: “Verizon will offer YouTube Premium as one of its monthly myPlan benefits.

“Which means customers get the service for an exclusive monthly price of just $10 (and saving 30%).

“With YouTube Premium, users can watch millions of videos ad-free, download videos to watch later when offline or on the go, including full access to YouTube Music Premium.

“Get the benefit from May 30th.”

HOW TO CLAIM YOUTUBE PREMIUM BENEFIT

The benefit is automatically available to anyone with a Verizon myPlan subscription.

But you will need to register it before you can get the discount.

First, go to your account dashboard and look for an “action notification”.

Tap set up to get started and then you’ll need to create an account or use one that already exists.

Then set up YouTube Premium by tapping Register.

You will be directed to Google, where you can follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your Google account.

Google will ask you to allow Verizon to start, add, or remove subscriptions to your YouTube account.

When finished, the YouTube Premium discount will be available in your account.
