AMAZON Fire Stick owners can unlock dozens more new channels thanks to two surprise updates.
This means the free TV list on your Fire Stick is bigger than ever.
Even better, both updates are free and only take a few seconds to download.
EASY TRANSMISSION
The first is a popular service called Sling Freestream.
This is the free, ad-supported streaming library built into the Sling TV app.
It’s easy to miss out because Sling TV itself is a paid service – but there’s no cost to enjoy Sling Freestream.

And this week, Sling Freestream is adding six new channels.
The list includes:
- 123GO
- 5-Minute Craft
- Positive side
- TV Minute of Life
- Smooth Slime Sam
- Teen Vee
And if none of that appeals to you, there are still plenty of reasons to enjoy Sling Freestream.
The service has a vast library of free channels, currently numbering more than 430.
And Sling claims its on-demand content catalog contains more than 40,000 movies and TV shows.
You can find Sling Freestream by downloading the regular Sling TV app through Amazon App Store on your Fire Stick.
GOING LOCAL
Next up is another popular free app called Local Now.
