If you are worried about being able to play games purchased in the United States, don’t do it.

Nintendo explains: “With the exception of systems and game cards distributed in the Chinese region, Nintendo Switch game cards are not region locked.”

And for digital purchases, the Nintendo eShop country will match your Nintendo Account settings.

BIG SWITCH

The Nintendo Switch OLED was released in October 2021 and is currently the most premium version of the console.

Its main upgrade is the 7-inch OLED display (hence the console’s name).

New Nintendo Switch with BETTER screen than your television revealed

A traditional LED-backlit LCD screen uses a backlight to illuminate the crystals that make up the pixels on your screen.

This is not very energy efficient and also means the screen is fully lit – even in dark parts of a video.

With an OLED screen, the pixels are self-illuminating. This means they don’t need a backlight and can be turned off individually.

This allows the OLED screen to display true blacks, improving contrast and offering a wider range of colors.
