A SINGLE download on your Amazon Fire TV unlocks a huge library of content for free – and it just got bigger.
If you’re tired of paying every month for expensive TV subscriptions, this could be your answer.
Plex is a popular streaming app available for free download at Amazon Fire TV Devices.
And there is also no cost to watch any content on the app.
The only catch is that you’ll need to watch the commercials, but that’s a small price to pay for completely free TV.
In April, Plex revealed that it offered exactly 1,112 channels worldwide.

And if you’re a viewer in the United States, you’ll have access to up to 847 of them.
Now the service is getting even bigger, with Plex announcing six new channels joining the list this week.
Here is the list of new channels:

- StarTalkTV
- Rachael Ray’s dream home in Italy
- KweliTV
- Great comedy!

But Plex doesn’t just offer free live channels.
You will also have access to an extensive list of on-demand content.
In fact, Plex claims it offers more than 50,000 “free titles, movies, and TV shows” that you can watch whenever you want.
In fact, Plex started out as an entirely different type of app.
Its original purpose was to let you share your saved media (like home movies) on a big screen of your choosing – almost like a personal Netflix.
But in late 2019, Plex launched a free, ad-powered streaming service.

However, Plex isn’t the only game in town when it comes to free content.
For starters, Amazon offers its own Freevee service on its Fire TV, which offers free, ad-supported content.
