YOUR iPhone could be hiding a tempting freebie worth just $30.
It will last three months – but you may have missed it entirely.
Many new Apple products come with a free subscription to Apple TV+.
This is Apple’s own streaming service – an increasingly popular rival to the likes of Netflix and Disney+.
An official Apple promotion offers a free three-month subscription worth $9.99 per month (or $29.97 for the entire offer period).
There are several ways to obtain it, including purchasing a new one iPhoneiPad, Apple TV or Mac.
HOW TO CHECK IF YOU’RE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE APPLE TV+
First, you will need a qualified device.
Apple says this means you’ll need to buy a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac that’s capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
And you will need to have purchased your product from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.
The offer is not available if you are already an Apple TV+ subscriber.
You also can’t combine it with Apple One or any other Apple TV+ free trial or offer.
The deal can only be claimed once per Family group, no matter how many devices have been purchased.
But you can share the subscription with up to five other family members through Family Sharing.
You also can’t claim the deal if you (or someone in your family group) has previously claimed a three-month or one-year free Apple TV+ offer.

Claiming the offer is easy: if you’re eligible, just go to the Apple TV app on your iPhone.
The promotion should appear instantly, allowing you to claim it.
If it doesn’t appear, make sure you’re running the latest software update.
Additionally, you’ll need to claim the deal within the first three months of setting up your new device.

But please note: When the deal period ends, you will automatically be charged the regular rate of $9.99 per month.
To avoid this, you will need to cancel at least one day before your renewal date in Settings.
If you cancel during the free offer period, you will immediately lose access to Apple TV+ and the remainder of your trial.
And you won’t be able to reactivate the trial either – you’ll just need to pay.
