IF you’ve already invested in an Apple TV, you’d better save some money on your streaming bills.
There’s a huge selection of free movies and TV shows on Apple TV – you just need to download the right apps.
US Sun has chosen three top downloads that will instantly unlock a huge library of free content.
There’s a problem, however: all three of these apps will make you watch commercials.
But it’s a small price to pay when you consider that you have almost endless TV to watch – including live channels.
By combining all three of these apps, you will be able to drop some of those premium subscriptions and save money each month.
#1 FREE APPLE TV – Tubi
First on the list is streaming titan Tubi, which hosts a huge library of content.
In the app’s description, Tubi boasts: “We’re more than a completely free streamer with the largest library in the entire streaming universe.
“We’re entertainment junkies and collectors and never judgmental. So get comfortable and settle into what you’re feeling. It’s about to get good.”
Tubi claims it offers a vast library of “over 200,000 movies and TV episodes.”
It also offers Tubi Originals content, also available on demand.
And it promises a selection of almost 250 free TV channels with ads.
FREE APPLE TV #2 – Plex
Next on the list is Plex, which didn’t actually start out as an ad-supported rival to Netflix.
Instead, it started as a way to stream your personal media – videos stored on a laptop or media server – to a screen of your choosing.
This allowed you to set up something like your own personal Netflix.
The feature is still available today, but Plex now also has its own content available.
The company’s streaming service was launched at the end of 2019 and now has a wide selection of content.
It promises around 850 live TV channels if you’re watching in the US
