A FREE streaming service on your Roku TV just updated with new channels — but you may have missed the app entirely.
This is because it is hidden in an app that you would normally expect to pay money for.
Sling TV is one of the best live television streaming services – but it will cost a monthly fee.
But you may have missed a free in-app streaming service called Sling Freestream.
Unlike regular Sling TV, Sling Freestream doesn’t cost a penny.
Instead, you’ll pay off your dues simply by watching ads – with no upfront costs or monthly subscriptions to worry about.
You can download Sling TV as a Roku channel and simply enjoy Freestream even if you don’t pay for the subscription.
Sling Freestream has a vast library of content available, all supported by ads.
For example, you will be able to enjoy over 500 free live TV channels, according to the official Sling Freestream website.
And the TV giant promises more than 40,000 free on-demand shows and movies.
It offers programs such as Hell’s Kitchen and The Walking Dead.
And six new channels were added this week, including:

- 123 GO!
- Positive side
- La La Vida
- Smooth Slime Sam
- TeenVee

You don’t even need to log in to watch Freestream, although you can create a free account to get some bonus perks.
“Creating an account on Sling is completely free and simple to do,” explained Sling.
