Samsung shares battery tricks for the fastest possible charge – and there’s also a way to unlock ‘superfast’ power

SAMSUNG offers fast, wireless charging on its latest devices – and the benefits are easy to access.

The manufacturer has improved the battery life of the Galaxy S24 series phones, which also come equipped with brighter screens and a powerful AI assistant.

The devices not only support wired charging, but also “hassle-free wireless charging,” according to the manufacturer – and it’s easy to take advantage.

Before you begin, make sure your software and related applications are up to date.

If they aren’t, there’s an easy solution. Navigate to “Settings” and tap “Software Update”, followed by “Download and Install”.

Just follow the on-screen instructions to update your phone.

A message will appear prompting you to enable the Fast Charging feature the first three times a Samsung Fast Charging accessory is connected.

Some users can level up using super fast charging, but this benefit is only available on some phones.

Additionally, you must use the charger in conjunction with a Samsung-approved 25W or 45W adapter.

To take advantage of the benefit, you must first know what to look for. The manufacturer recommends that customers use only Samsung brand battery chargers.

A charger labeled ‘Adaptive Fast Charging’ and a charging icon support the Fast Charging feature. Those labeled “Super Fast Charging” support Super Fast Charging.

There’s another advantage too: users can charge another device using the phone’s own battery, which can come in handy when you’re on the go.

The Wireless Power Sharing feature can be used to charge another Galaxy phone, Galaxy watch, or Galaxy Buds. You can even charge another device while charging your own phone.

To activate the feature, unlock your phone and swipe down to open the notification panel. Tap the “Wireless Power Sharing” icon.

All you have to do is place the device you want to charge in the center of the phone, keeping the devices back to back.

When charging begins, you will be notified by a sound or vibration.

Once you’ve finished charging your other device, simply disconnect it from your phone.

The manufacturer states that it’s important to remove any accessories or phone cases before trying to use the feature, as they can get in the way.

Samsung also warns users to only use the USB Type-C cables provided with the device as Micro USB cables may cause damage.

To avoid wasting energy, unplug the charger when not in use.
