‘Finally’ cheers Apple fans as surprise new iPhone color ‘leaked’ – our exclusive model reveals what it might look like

A NEW color option for the iPhone 16 Pro may have been revealed – and fans can’t seem to agree on what it looks like.

The upcoming model is rumored to feature an all-new colorway, according to a supply chain leak on Chinese social network Weibo.

“The new iPhone 16 Pro color code is Rose,” wrote an anonymous user in a post reviewed by The US Sun. “It wasn’t the rose gold of the iPhone 6S before.”

This suggests that the hue differs from the champagne color seen on previous iPhones.

“Rose” also won’t be Apple’s first foray into pink. The latest model, the iPhone 15, arrives baby pink. Before this, the iPhone 13 had a similar peach hue.

The leaker included a sample showing a sandy brown color, though it’s not expected to be true to life.

The leak sparked speculation on other social media sites, most notably Reddit, where users shared different interpretations of the color’s name.

Some iPhone fans went so far as to claim that the name denoted a red hue.

“It’s not rose gold. Just pink, literally. That could suggest a full red color and not a pink tone,” wrote one Redditor.

Another theorized that it would be closer to magenta.

“Rose gold was just a metal pink“, wrote the user.

“If you look at the 15 Pro Blue Titanium, it’s quite dark, probably the same thing will happen here.”

According to the same leaker, the Blue Titanium hue has been “cancelled” for the iPhone 16 Pro.

The leaker previously stated that the model will come in three different colors pink.

These include a titanium black similar to the Deep Space Black on the iPhone 14 Pro; a titanium white similar to the Silver White of the iPhone 14 Pro; and a “slightly gray” silver compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.

Other sources claim that the ‌iPhone 16‌ and ‌iPhone 16‌ Plus will also be offered in green and a different shade of blue.

Many rumors are circulating ahead of the iPhone 16’s anticipated launch this fall.

Leaked design images show the Pro models boasting taller screen sizes than the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 15 Pro.

The size of the largest device is expected to increase relative to the iPhone 15 Pro Max from 6.7 inches to an impressive 16.9 inches.

The Pro model is also expected to feature a brighter screen.

A previous Weibo leak claims that the ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ will feature up to 1,200 nits of typical SDR brightness – a 20% increase over the current models.

However, the maximum HDR brightness will remain the same at 1,600 nits.
