AMAZON Alexa is experiencing an outage as hundreds of people are struggling to access the service.
More than 300 Amazon Alexa users reported problems with the personal assistant app just before 8:15 p.m. EST, according to Fall detector.
About half of the reported issues are associated with Alexa’s ability to connect.

Amazon Help responded to the tweet: “Hi! We’re sorry to hear of any frustrations or concerns with Alexa not playing any music. Please try again in a moment.

If Amazon Alexa is having difficulty playing music, Amazon recommends the following steps,
- Turn off devices you’re not using to speed up your WiFi
- Move Alexa away from walls, metal objects or sources of interference
- Move Alexa off the floor
- Connect Alexa to your router
- Make sure your Amazon Tap batteries are charged
- Reset your Wi-Fi
- Check if your network firewall has these ports open: 123, 443, 4070, 5353, 33434, 40317 and 49317
