DONALD Trump warned that Tim Walz and Kamala Harris could plunge the United States into a depression – but said he was excited about the Democrats’ choice for vice president.
Trump attacked Walz over the Minnesota riots and liberal policies in his first TV interview after Harris announced her new running mate.

The Democratic presidential candidate announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her vice presidential pick on Tuesday as the pair kicked off the campaign trail in Philadelphia.
Calling Fox and friends on Wednesday, Trump reacted to what he characterized as a “shocking choice” that saw Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly shunned by Harris.
“My reaction, I can’t believe it,” Trump told the news outlet in a telephone interview.
“I never thought this would be the one chosen. I couldn’t be more thrilled.
The president called Walz a “very liberal man” when explaining his joy at the announcement.
With the Democratic nominees being seen as extremely left-wing, the Republican plans to attack liberal issues, which he believes will make it easier for the Republican Party to win.
“There has never been a fine like this. Shapiro would have been a better choice,” Trump said.
“It is a very bad decision for the country. The country cannot deal well with these two people,” he continued.
The former president warned that the country would be plunged into a depression if the Democrats are voted back in November.
“It is a very bad situation we are living in. We can end up in depression.
“Let’s live like dogs.
“The stock market will collapse like 1929 if they are elected.”
The businessman’s warning comes as Wall Street suffered its worst day in two years, on Monday, sparking fears of a recession.
Large retailers like Wal-Mart, CostcoIt is Target all saw their shares plummet, while Europe’s were near their lowest in six months.
This occurs at a time when the country has doubts about its future after Biden abruptly dropped out of the race late last month.

Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is gearing up for a turbulent week after she officially named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate — just weeks after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Here’s what’s next for the duo as they kick off the campaign together:
Harris and Walz will appear together at her first campaign rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, August 6.
It will be the first of seven swing states that Harris is expected to travel to over five days — five of which she and Biden turned blue in 2020.
These states include:

- Wisconsin
- Michigan
- Georgia
- Arizona
- North Caroline
- Nevada
The stretch is expected to be one of the heaviest weeks of campaign-related travel this election cycle.
After their week-long tour of the country, Harris and Walz will head to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, August 19-22.
This is where Harris is expected to officially accept the party’s nomination and define exactly where she and her running mate stand on a multitude of issues affecting the American people.

Trump blamed Harris for the crash, calling her the “Kamala Crash” on Truth Social.
“It is clear that there is a huge recession in the market,” wrote the former president.
“Kamala is even worse than Crooked Joe. Markets Will NEVER accept the Radical Left Lunatic who DESTROYED San Francisco and California as a whole.

Meanwhile, experts talked about how such financial issues could benefit Trump and his running mate. JD Vance.

The vice president characterized her running mate as a family man and highlighted his work as a former teacher and his fight for middle-class families.
Walz quickly thanked Harris for her decision, calling it “the honor of a lifetime” while saying it felt like it was the first day of school.
“I’m all in. Vice President Harris is showing us the policy of what is possible. This reminds me a little of the first day of school. So let’s do this, guys! Join us,” he he wrote in X.
Meanwhile, a snubbed Shapiro backed the pair, saying they have his “enthusiastic support,” in a declaration in X.

A former Obama aide exclusively told The US Sun how Harris’ decision to land Walz was her safest option, thanks to Trump’s decision to have Vance as his vice president.
“It’s a safe choice that could very well prove strategic,” said Brett Bruen, director of global engagement during former President Barack Obama’s administration.
“He offers a clear contrast to JD Vance, bringing the Midwestern roots without the radicalism.
“Its appeal may well extend to Wisconsin, Michigan and even Pennsylvania.”
“Barring any bizarre development – and that cannot be ruled out – she will have the political winds at her back and I hope that will be enough to win in November,” he added.

Kamala Harris confirmed her running mate in a text message to supporters and then shared a lengthy Instagram post explaining her decision.
“I’m proud to announce that I’ve asked @walzforgovernor to be my running mate,” Harris wrote on Instagram. publish.
