The name game continues in the 2024 presidential election, as former President Donald Trump hit back at Democrats, calling vice presidential candidate Tim Walz an aberration.
Trump hurled insults at the Democratic nominee and the party as a whole during a campaign speech in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday night.
The former president specifically targeted the governor of Minnesota, who has not shied away from calling Republican candidates “weird” in recent weeks.
“He’s very strange,” Trump told reporters.
“If Comrade Walz and Comrade [Kamala] Harris wins in November, the people cheering will be the pink-haired Marxists, the looters, the perverts, the flag burners, the Hamas supporters, the drug dealers, the gun stealers and the human traffickers.”
He went on to claim that Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, would turn the United States into a “completely communist country.”
