Poll and voting information revealed
Allegheny County saw the reallocation of 62 voting districts for this election, 16 of which were moved because the primary took place on the same day as the Passover holiday.
You must drop off your mail-in ballot at the County Office Building downtown if you are using one and have not already mailed it.
Voters must receive their ballots by 8 p.m., not just get them stamped.
They must be signed, properly dated and placed inside the confidential envelope.
Your vote will not count if any of these conditions are not met.
The polls are officially open in Pennsylvania
Tuesday’s primary election in Pennsylvania will determine a number of party nominees.
Pittsburgh voters will also choose between two U.S. House seats, a U.S. Senate seat and several other offices across the Commonwealth in this presidential election year.
Post-Gazette reporters will fan out across western Pennsylvania throughout the day to cover key races, talk to voters about their voting intentions and candidates’ qualities, and evaluate the results.
Polls opened in Pennsylvania at 7 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m. You can vote if you are in line by 8pm to vote in person.
