sSouth Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who has come under fire in recent days for admitting to killing her misbehaving 14-month-old dog Cricket, suggested President Joe Biden’s dog Commander should meet the same fate.

On a interview on Sunday in Face the nationNoem, which is supposedly a candidate to be former President Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, was asked about a passage in her upcoming memoir in which she wrote that one of her first priorities if she were in the White House would be to ensure that the Commander, Biden prone to bites The German Shepherd was nowhere to be found – and this commander was supposed to “say hello to Cricket.”

“Are you doing this to try to look tough?” moderator Margaret Brennan asked Noem.

“Joe Biden’s dog attacked 24 Secret Service people,” Noem explained. “So how many people are enough to be attacked and dangerously injured before you make a decision about a dog?”

Brennan intervened, noting that Cmdr. no longer lives in the White Houseand asked for clarification: “Are you saying he should be shot?”

But Noem continued without responding: “This is why the president should be held accountable…”

Noem was also asked about other controversial passages, including a sentence about meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that she admitted was false, according to There’s No Going Back: The Truth About What’s Wrong With Politics and How We Move America Forwardwhich is scheduled to be published on May 7th.
