Who is Tennessee Representative John Rose’s wife Chelsea?
Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Chelsea Doss Rose is executive director of the Tennessee FFA Foundation.
In 2012, Chelsea received her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University.
She earned her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 2014.
Before officially working for the FFA, Chelsea was named a national FFA officer in 2009 and was heavily involved with the company while in high school.
“Tennessee Tech University’s Chelsea Doss is the fresh face of today’s FFA and is becoming a trailblazer for other students across the country pursuing careers in agriculture,” said a Tennessee Tech expert Press release to read.
She officially joined the organization in 2014. She briefly left the company in 2017 before returning in 2021.
When did John and Chelsea meet?
Although the exact origin of their relationship is unknown, John was involved in her life as she progressed through FFA.
Chelsea credited John on his success with the organization: “John made everything I did in FFA beyond high school possible.
“With the scholarship he offers, I didn’t have to work until college. I was able to train, improve myself, focus on FFA and focus on school.”
She continued: “This scholarship made all the difference. He also coached me during my preparation, which was extremely helpful.”
The two finally got married on January 8, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Do John and Chelsea have children?
John and Chelsea welcomed two children during their marriage.
Their son, Guy, was born on October 7, 2017, followed by their youngest son, Sam, on March 23, 2021.
Guy made headlines on June 3, 2024, after grimacing as his father gave a speech from the House podium.

Right now, Guy will accompany his father for a few weeks while Chelsea is at work taking care of Sam.
