‘I’m a big fan of electric cars’

Trump said he opposed mandatory electric vehicles, but that he liked electric cars.

“I like Elon,” he added, referring to Elon Musk’s Tesla.

Trump then began discussing women’s sports and Social Security.

‘Radical because there is no war’

Trump said he was a “radical for not having war.”

He claimed he kept the country out of war and “totally defeated ISIS.”

“I took good care of our veterinarians,” Trump added.

“We don’t want wars,” he told the audience.

Trump promised to use tariffs

Trump told an audience member that if he were elected president, he would impose tariffs on other countries.

He added that he would tariff China and Mexico and said the European Union was “brutal” to the US.

“We will be very tough on countries,” he told the audience.

Trump also stated that he would convince President Xi to impose the death penalty on any Chinese citizen who brought fentanyl into the US.

President Biden met with President Xi last November to discuss how to reduce fentanyl production.

Trump on law and order

A woman in the audience asked Trump what he would do to keep his teenage daughter safe.

Trump said he would “get them [criminals] out of the country.” He added that he would continue to fund the local police.

Trump opens space for questions

Trump opened the floor to answer questions from the public.

A man in the audience asked if his grandchildren would have the same life as him, to which Trump replied yes.

Trump claimed the police were unable to do their job and said they should have immunity.

“I know exactly the life you’re talking about,” Trump told the audience.

‘I’ve been indicted four times!’

“The only thing I did wrong was: I hit someone who wasn’t supposed to win,” Trump said when talking about his accusations.

Trump was found guilty by a jury in Manhattan on 34 felony counts of falsifying documents.

He remained firm in claiming that the trial is a “witch hunt” against him, driven by the Biden administration.

Trump then added that he would put African Americans, Asian Americans and Hispanic Americans first if elected to serve another term.
