New York Court of Appeals Refuses to Hear Trump’s Challenge to Gag Order in Financial Silence Case

The New York Court of Appeals on Tuesday refused to hear former President Donald Trump’s appeal of the gag order in the gag case in which he was convicted last month.

The court said it was rejecting the appeal “on the basis that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved.”

This means that the gag order imposed on Trump by Judge Juan Merchan is still in effect.
