Hunter Biden Sues Fox News Over Explicit Images Featured in Streaming Series

NEW YORK — NEW YORK (AP) — Biden Hunter accused Fox News in a lawsuit of illegally publishing explicit images of him as part of a streaming series.

The president’s son filed the lawsuit Sunday in Manhattan state court over footage from “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” which debuts on the Fox Nation streaming service in 2022. The series features a “mock trial” of Hunter Biden on charges he did not make. faced and includes images of Biden nude and performing sexual acts, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges that the release of intimate images without her consent violated New York’s so-called revenge porn law.

“Fox published and disseminated these intimate images to its vast audience of millions as part of an entertainment program in order to humiliate, harass, anger and alarm Mr. Biden and tarnish his reputation,” according to the lawsuit.

A Fox News spokesperson called it an “entirely politically motivated lawsuit” that was “devoid of merit” in an emailed statement. The statement noted that Biden’s lawyers sent them a letter demanding his removal from streaming platforms in April 2024.

“The program was removed within days of the letter, out of an abundance of caution, but Hunter Biden is a public figure who has been the subject of multiple investigations and is now a convicted felon. the newsworthy events produced by Mr. Biden himself and we look forward to vindicating our rights in court,” according to the emailed statement.

Biden Hunter was sentenced last month of three related criminal charges to the purchase of a revolver in 2018, whenprosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun purchase form, saying he did not use drugs illegally or was addicted to drugs.

The show’s mock trial involved accusations of bribery and improper financial transactions with foreign governments, charges that were not brought against Hunter Biden, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages and an order directing Fox to remove any copies of the explicit images.

The lawsuit alleges that the promotional materials were not fully removed by Fox and that the show is still available on some third-party streaming platforms.
