Because the show will launch during election season, Conway, who also served as a senior adviser to Trump, will take an in-depth look at predictions for this cycle and the role political independents play in the race, according to a press release. launch of Fox News.

“The American people are smart,” Conway said in a statement.

“They are also concerned about the state of our nation and pay close attention to the issues, individuals and ideas that will govern our future,” she continued.

“We will go beyond news headlines and polls to have a deeper conversation and equip viewers with the compelling illustrative anecdotes and thoughtful analysis they crave.”

The show, named after Conway’s 2022 book, will air weekly on Thursdays until the November election.

“During an unprecedented election year, we are proud that Kellyanne’s insights into the inner workings of political campaigns based on her unique experience will be available to Fox Nation subscribers,” said Fox Nation President Lauren Petterson.

KELLYANNE CONTROVERSY

Conway’s time as spokesperson for Donald Trump’s campaign and presidency has not been without controversy.

And despite now running her own news program, Conway has often been at odds with reporters and fact-checkers throughout her years in the White House.

Perhaps the most famous incident involving Conway happened shortly after President Trump’s inauguration.

Conway defended then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer false statements about the size of the crowd at Trump’s inauguration, describing them as “alternative facts.”

This phrase was coined, widely ridiculed, and criticized as Conway’s attempt to legitimize false statements.

Then, in February 2017, Conway cited a terrorist attack in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as the reason for Trump’s travel ban that restricted Muslims from entering the country.

However, no such attack ever occurred.

She later clarified that she intended to refer to the arrest of two Iraqi refugees in Bowling Green on charges of attempting to send money and weapons to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda.

A month later, in March 2017, Trump posted on X, Twitter at the time, that the Obama administration had bugged Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign — a claim made without evidence.

This led to Conway’s interview with a New Jersey newspaper, The Bergen County Record, about these allegations of surveillance at Trump Tower, where Conway suggested that household appliances like microwaves could be used for spying.

This comment was widely ridiculed and criticized as the Trump campaign spread unfounded conspiracy theories.

She has also been criticized for sometimes misrepresenting economic data to paint a more favorable picture of the Trump administration’s performance.

For example, she occasionally cited job creation numbers without context or comparison to previous administrations.

She was also frequently critical of the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, often making misleading claims about the program.

For example, she incorrectly claimed that millions of Americans had lost their health insurance because of the ACA, when in reality, the law had significantly reduced the number of uninsured Americans.

In 2019, after Trump stated that he could accept damaging information about political opponents from foreign governments, Conway defended him by arguing that the information is simply part of the investigation of the political opposition, causing an uproar among legal and ethical experts about foreign interference. .

Conway also downplayed the early phases of the pandemic, saying the country had the virus contained, played down allegations of possible Russian interference in the 2016 election and has been widely considered a fiercely loyal and combative supporter of Donald Trump.

Conway has also been involved in a public fight with his daughter Claudia, who alleges that her mother physically and verbally abused her throughout her life, claims Conway denies.
