Trump allies see Biden’s press conference as the “best of both worlds”

One ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll released Thursday showed Trump defeating Biden, 46-47%, but in a matchup against Harris, trailing 49-46%.

Donald Trump Jr. said on his Rumble live stream that Biden did better than he thought he would. “I think he’s done well enough to be able to stay there – he doesn’t want to go.” He later shared a social media post with Harris and Trump’s faces mixed together, reading “Vice President Trump.”

In the coming days, he is expected to announce his running mate, though the campaign team admits they will be content to hand the news cycle over to Biden in the meantime.
