Party insiders shared that Biden, 81, is feeling pressure to leave due to growing concerns about his age and well-being.

Obama told allies that “Biden’s path to victory has greatly diminished and he thinks the president needs to seriously consider the viability of his candidacy,” according to the outlet.
Democrats also expect polls to lean toward Trump after this week’s Republican National Convention.
