vice president Kamala Harris shouted the senator. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for not mentioning Project 2025 in your speech at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday.
“Frankly, what is very revealing is what [Vance] I didn’t talk about that stage. He didn’t talk about Project 2025, his 900-page plan for a second Trump mandate,” Harris said at a campaign event in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Thursday. “He didn’t talk about it because his plans are extreme and divisive.”
Project 2025 is a 920-page far-right political document that has been dubbed authoritative manual. It seeks to redesign the government and presents hundreds of proposals, including attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, reproductive freedom, education and much more.

Meanwhile, Trump’s running mate Vance he said that the document contains “good ideas” and “some things he disagrees with,” but that it “has no affiliation with the Trump campaign.”

Harris’ comments on Thursday come several days after the assassination attempt on Trump on Saturday.
“In recent days, they have been trying to portray themselves as a party of unity. But here’s the thing: If you claim to stand for unity, you have to do more than just use the word,” Harris said during the campaign event in North Carolina. “You cannot claim to stand for unity if you are promoting an agenda that deprives entire groups of Americans of basic freedoms, opportunities and dignity. You cannot claim to stand for unity if you are going to take away the reproductive freedom of the people of America and the women of America.”
Vance’s speech on Wednesday largely attempted to contribute to the new Republican Party Unity Position following the shooting at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“Our differences actually make us stronger, just like my time in the U.S. Senate,” Vance said. “Sometimes I convince my colleagues, and sometimes they convince me. Shouldn’t we be governed by a party that isn’t afraid to debate ideas and find the best solution?”
