White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will hold a news conference aboard Air Force One on a short flight from the Delaware Air National Guard Base to White Plains, New York. President Biden is heading to Greenwich, Connecticut, tonight for a campaign reception.

Biden is reportedly planning to sign an executive order that could temporarily block migrants from entering the US southern border based on the number of daily encounters. The measure marks a new direction for the White House, which previously unsuccessfully advocated for Congressional action on the issue.

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 5:25 pm EDT.

Audio will be streamed via the embedded YouTube player above.
