Former President Trump’s lawyers sent a cease and desist letter to the filmmakers behind the new biopic “The Apprentice” following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week, according to multiple reports Friday.
According to the varietyFirst reported in the letter, Trump’s team is trying to block the release of “The Apprentice” and is warning its producers not to try to find a distributor for the film, which stars “Captain America: The Soldier” star Sebastian Stan.
