Jury selection is expected to resume on Thursday, the third day of former President Trump’s secret trial in Manhattan.
So far, five jurors have been chosen, after two already selected jurors were dismissed on Thursday. There are still 13 juror selections left for a panel that will include six alternates, drawn from hundreds of New Yorkers called to serve.
Dozens of jurors were almost immediately dismissed after admitting they could not be fair or impartial during the politically controversial trial. Each side, the defense and the prosecution, only has a few strikes left.
