The Supreme Court has refused to hear two appeals related to COVID-19 vaccines from Children’s Health Defense, the anti-vaccine organization founded by independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The judges did not comment on either rejection, leaving the lower courts’ rulings in place.

In one case, CHD joined a group of parents suing the Food and Drug Administration over authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine. The organization claimed the vaccines “were ineffective and lacked adequate verification,” but the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5thth Circuit dismissed case for lack of standing.

In the other case, the organization sued Rutgers University over its mandate that students be vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending in-person classes.

The US Court of Appeals for 3third The Circuit said the plaintiffs “failed to state any plausible claim for relief.”

Kennedy resigned from the organization when he began his presidential campaign, but is listed as an attorney in the Rutgers lawsuit.
