Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), alongside California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and others, mocked former President Trump on Tuesday for suggesting that President Biden might withdraw the Democratic nomination.

“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST president in US history, whose presidency was unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer and others on the Lunatic Left , CRASHES the Democratic National Convention and tries to retake the nomination, starting by challenging me to another DEBATE. He feels he made a historically tragic mistake by handing the US Presidency, a COUP, to the people in the world he hates most, and he wants it back, NOW!!!” trump said in a post Tuesday on Truth Social.

“It’s okay to be afraid,” said Schiff, who is also the Democratic nominee for a U.S. Senate seat from California. said in a post on social platform X in response to Trump.

Vice President Harris has risen to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee following President Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race. Biden did so after weeks of growing calls from Democrats, including Schiff, to leave the presidential race due to concerns about his age, mental fitness and ability to win back the White House in the fall.

“Oh, he’s scared,” Newsom said in a post on X in response to Trump’s post about Biden.

Two anti-Trump Republican groups, Republican Voters Against Trump and The Lincoln Project, also went back trump to the post.

“Trump is complaining on Truth Social about the presidency being ‘STOLE’ from Joe Biden by ‘Kamabla’ and ‘Barrack HUSSEIN Obama’ and suggests Biden will back down and challenge him to another debate,” said Republican voters against Trump. in a post on X.

“This is quite disturbing even for Trump,” the post continued.

In an emailed statement to The Hill, Ian Krager, spokesman for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), said the post is “just the usual projection of her own insanity.”

The Hill reached out to the Trump campaign, the office of Sen. Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.), the office of former President Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama, the Harris campaign and the White House.
