Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) on Thursday told ABC host Jimmy Kimmel that she “would be hard-pressed to find anyone dumber” in the House than Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

Greene and Crockett sparred last month at a late-night House hearing, and their animosity has not abated in the weeks since, Crockett’s comments suggested.

“It would be difficult to find someone dumber” Crockett said when asked by Kimmel on his late-night show if Greene is “the dumbest person in the House of Representatives.”

The late-night host and the Texas congresswoman discussed the chaos that erupted at the hearing last month when Greene made a comment about Crockett’s eyelashes and Crockett then criticized Greene’s appearance.

The hearing was supposed to be about Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Republican Party’s effort to hold him in contempt of Congress, but it quickly went off the rails.

“And the hearing should be about the AG, right?” Crockett told Kimmel. “So we should be talking about AG Merrick Garland. And she starts talking about the Judge [Juan] Merchant.”

Merchan is the judge who presided over Trump’s secret trial in New York.

“So now I’m upset because it’s late at night, [I’ve] I’ve been here all day, ready to work, you’re not here. And you’re still talking about that failed trial. So I had to ask her if she understood, because she’s not the smartest.”

The Hill reached out to Greene’s office.
