Former President Trump on Wednesday he said he wants to debate former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), saying she wouldn’t last five minutes with him.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is a cognitive mess. She has now turned against Crooked [President Biden.] She’s saying he doesn’t have what it takes,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. “Really? I would love to debate her about what the Radical Left Democrats did to ruin our country. She wouldn’t last 5 minutes!”

Trump’s post followed an earlier one on the day in which he said Pelosi was ““trying to convince anyone who would listen that “Biden” is a mental giant.”

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is more of a cognitive mess than Sleepy Crooked Joe. She also suffers from a terminal case of TDS, Trump Disorder Syndrome,” Trump said in the previous post.

Trump and Pelosi have a long history of antagonism, which includes Pelosi tearing a copy of Trump’s State of the Union address shortly after he delivered it in 2020.

Pelosi also led the House during Trump’s two impeachments and has repeatedly discussed the danger she sees if Trump regains the White House.

“She is a total crazy person, who impeached me TWICE and lost. Now I see her walking around and saying I’m a threat to democracy,” Trump said in his post. “No, this is just disinformation from the Democratic Radical Left, which is all they are good at. She’s trying to convince anyone who will listen that Crooked Joe is a mental giant, and in great shape, which everyone knows he isn’t.”

Biden is facing calls to withdraw from the race against Trump after a shaky performance in the presidential debate last month. He insisted he will not be removed from the race and criticized the elites for trying to do so.

Pelosi said Wednesday that it is Biden’s decision to “decide whether he’s going to run” as he deals with calls from members of his party to drop out of the race.

“It’s up to the president to decide whether he’s going to run,” Pelosi said on MSNBC. “We are all encouraging him to make this decision. Because time is running out.

“But he’s loved, he’s respected, and people want him to make that decision, not me.”

The Hill reached out to Pelosi’s office.
