Senate Democrats on Monday released a series of ads targeting Republican Senate candidates’ records on reproductive rights, following the second anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s (DSCC) new advertising blitz is set to target voters in 10 states on lifestyle, beauty, fashion and recipe sites including cosmopolitan.com, thepioneerwoman.com, wellplated.com and harpersbazaar. with.

The ads direct voters to the DSCC website dedicated to targeting Republican Party Senate candidates and their stance on abortion and reproductive treatments.

One of the ads states: “URGENT NOTICE Your: → Rights → Freedoms → Health are at RISK. Visit GOPonAbortion.com.”

“A Senate candidate in YOUR state threatens your rights. Visit GOPonAbortion.com,” another ad stated.

Monday marked the second anniversary of the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Wade by the Supreme Court, which eliminated the 1973 precedent granting the constitutional right to abortion.

The nation’s highest court granted states the authority to limit or ban abortion procedures, and in the months that followed, several Republican-led states moved forward to pass legislation restricting or banning residents’ access to the procedure.

A total of 14 states have suspended almost all abortion services, while three states have six-week bans, according to an ABC News count.

“Senate Republicans have spent years using every tool at their disposal to take away women’s right to make their own health care decisions,” said DSCC spokeswoman Annie Lentz. in a statement.

The anniversary of the Republican Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade underscores the stakes in this year’s Senate elections and the importance of protecting the Senate majority Democrats with the power to confirm or deny Supreme Court justices,” Lentz added.

Democrats made abortion a key election issue before November.

DSCC Chairman Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) said in a statement Monday that “every Republican Senate candidate represents a threat to women’s freedoms, rights and health.”
