Google was hit by a worldwide outage that affected thousands of users on Wednesday morning.

According to Fall detectorMore than 1,000 reports of Google services outages came in around 10:49 a.m. EDT.

The most reported issue was the use of the search engine and website.

Based on the tracker map, users in the United States were most affected in Seattle, Denver, and New York. The Daily Mail reported that users in the UK, Australia, other parts of Europe, South America and Asia have also reported problems.

It’s unknown how many users were affected by the outage, but Down Detector said it only reports an incident when the number of reports is “significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.”

The Hill has reached out to Google for comment and clarity on the outage.
