Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg didn’t seem enthusiastic about X owner Elon Musk’s latest invitation to fight on Wednesday.
“We’re really doing it again,” Zuckerberg said in a post on Threads.
Musk renewed speculation of a fight between the two technology moguls during a visit to Capitol Hill, where he was the guest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the Israeli leader’s speech to Congress.
“I will take on Zuckerberg anywhere, anytime, with any rules,” Musk said in response to a reporter’s question.
Musk and Zuckerberg hinted at a fight last year, but the confrontation never materialized. The X owner initially challenged Meta’s CEO in June 2023 as the social media giant prepared to launch its X rival, Threads.
“I’m ready for a cage fight if he is,” Musk said in an X post at the time.
Zuckerberg, who has practiced jiu-jitsu during the pandemic, initially seemed interested, writing “Send me location” in an Instagram story. However, despite going back and forth online repeatedly, the two never met to fight.
