The National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) will hear testimony on Wednesday in the second day of hearings into potentially inadequate manufacturing standards at aerospace company Boeing.
Scrutiny of the company became acute following the explosion of a door on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 in January.
On Tuesday, the NTSB released public documents, including statements from Boeing workers who spoke of pressure to work too quickly and an apparent lack of responsibility for safety issues.
Wednesday’s hearing began at 9 a.m. EDT.
