Several people were injured following a crowd at a music festival in Newquay, police said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they were notified of a crowd surge at the Boardmasters music festival, which “left a small number of attendees injured”.

The force said the injured were being treated at the scene by medical staff or were taken to hospital for examination.

He said none of the injuries were considered serious.

“This is an isolated incident and the festival continues,” he added.
