Police investigating after 70-year-old man and woman found dead in Stoke-on-Trent | UK News

Police are investigating after a man and woman in their 70s were found dead in a house in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to reports of two bodies found at a property in Catalina Place, Meir Park, at 1pm on Saturday, Staffordshire Police said.

They were pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m.

Staffordshire Police said: “An investigation is being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident.

“At this stage, we are confident there is no threat or wider risk to the community.”

The man and woman have not been publicly named.
