Social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague has announced her split from boxer Tommy Fury just over a year after they got engaged.

The couple, both 25, met during the 2019 series of ITV2 reality show Love Island and welcomed the birth of their only child, a daughter called Bambi, in January last year.

Less than an hour after Hague announced their split, Fury made a separate post on Instagram where she said she was “heartbroken” about the end of the relationship.

The split comes just three weeks after Hague referred to Fury as the “love of my life” as she shared a video on Instagram marking exactly one year since he proposed.

The couple planned to get married in 2025.

Sharing the news of the split on Wednesday, Hague wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I would have to write this.

“After five years together, I never imagined our story would end, especially this way.

“I am extremely upset to announce that my relationship with Tommy has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and forever, my beautiful daughter.

“Without us, she wouldn’t exist, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank all of you for the love you have shown us over the past five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is only right to share this with all of you.

“As I try to navigate the next few days and weeks, please respect my privacy at this difficult time, I will come back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

Fury said in her post: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.

“The last five years have led us to having our beautiful little girl, Bambi, and I will be forever grateful to Molly for making me a father.

“Bambi is our priority.

“Please respect our privacy and the privacy of our families as we navigate this difficult time.”

The statement comes five weeks after Fury posted an Instagram image of himself with Hague and their daughter with the caption: “My everything.”

The professional boxer, from Manchester, proposed in July 2023 at a hilly seaside location decorated with hundreds of flowers and petals.

In a video of the proposal, Hague is seen taking Fury’s son away as he gets down on one knee.

The couple recently starred in the Netflix reality show At Home With The Furys along with Fury’s half-brother and fellow boxer, Tyson Fury.

Fury, who has had successful fights against YouTubers KSI and Jake Paul, has previously admitted that Hague “hates” boxing.

He told BBC Breakfast last year that Hague only tolerates boxing because “she knows how happy it makes me”.

The split also comes less than a week after Hague opened up about the challenges of being a single mother.

In a video shared on her YouTube channel, she said she got “30 minutes out of a whole week of ‘me time’.”

Hague added that Fury was busy working on his audiobook and continued: “I’ve been a solo dad pretty much all week. I’ve actually been a solo parent for about two weeks now because Tommy has been so busy.

“When he’s home after work and stuff, he’s so amazing and helpful, I can’t say anything different, like, he’s an amazing dad.”

Hague added: “I feel like at the moment I’m struggling a bit, which is good, I feel like with motherhood some stages are easier than others, and at the moment I feel like we’re going through a bit of a challenging phase.

“Not just with Bambi, but also with myself and trying to juggle a lot.”
