DANIEL Radcliffe has reignited his bitter feud with JK Rowling over the heated trans debate – and says he owes her nothing.

The disgruntled Hollywood actor recalled his war with the popular British writer after she vowed she would “not forgive” the Harry Potter star.

The 34-year-old teamed up with co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to oppose the national treasure’s views.

This came after Rowling criticized an article for using the term “people who menstruate” instead of simply “women”.

Rowling’s stance against allowing biologically male trans women into women’s spaces has drawn harsh criticism.

In stark contrast, Radcliffe claimed his support for trans women and sparked a heated disagreement between the two stars.

He wrote an article for an LGBT+ suicide prevention charity and criticized “transgender women are women”.

The actor has now confessed that “nothing in my life” would have happened if it weren’t for author Rowling.

But he also clarified that this doesn’t mean he doesn’t owe the author “the things he really believes in.”

He said The Atlantic: “I will continue to support the rights of all LGBTQ people and will make no further comments beyond that.

“Jo, obviously Harry Potter wouldn’t have happened without her, so nothing in my life probably would have happened the way it has without that person.

“But that doesn’t mean you owe the things you really believe in to someone else your entire life.”

Despite sparking the feud, Radcliffe said he is saddened by the situation.

He added: “It makes me very sad, ultimately, because I look at the person I knew, and the moments we met, and the books she wrote, and the world she created, and all of that is for me. so deeply empathetic.”

HEATED LINE

Rowland has previously suggested that she may not forgive Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for their opposing stances on the transgender debate.

The Harry Potter author posted a series of comments on X, formerly Twitter, following a report by Dr Hilary Cass about gender services in Britain.

O analysis found that teenagers were allowed to change their sex based on “remarkably weak evidence”.

In response, JK Rowling posted on X that Dr. Cass conducted the “most robust review of the medical evidence for children in transition ever undertaken.”

She added: “Children have been irreversibly harmed and thousands are complicit, not just doctors but also celebrity spokespeople, the unquestioning media and cynical corporations.”

In 2020, Rowling faced backlash for outlining her stance on the reality of biological sex.

She wrote: “I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability for many to discuss their lives in a meaningful way.”

Several Harry Potter movie stars – including Watson and Radcliffe – made public statements about the transgender debate after the author took a stand.

In a landmark review, published on Wednesday, Dr Cass says the “toxicity” of the gender debate meant professionals were “afraid” to openly discuss their views.

The review was commissioned by NHS England in 2020 and examined gender identity services for under-18s.

It turns out that Wes Streeting has dramatically abandoned his hardline gender stance, admitting that it was a mistake to insist that all trans women are women.

The shadow Health Secretary, speaking to the new policy show Never Mind the Ballots, told host Harry Cole that she did not support the statement that “trans women are women, get over it”.
