Olly Murs has apologized for canceling a gig in Glasgow at the last minute.
The singer has been supporting Take That on tour, but was forced to cancel his appearance with the band at the OVO Hydro due to transport issues.
Murs said he had been at Heathrow since 11am before his appearance on Friday night, but the flight was canceled after “several delays” and a cabin crew accident.
“I’m sorry to everyone at the @takethat show tonight in Glasgow, unfortunately I won’t be there,” the 39-year-old former X Factor runner-up wrote on X.
“I don’t think I’ve ever missed a show before, I’m so irritated!
“But now I’m in a car headed for our six-hour journey to the show on Saturday and Sunday.”
The singer had been updating fans via his Instagram story, sharing a video from inside the plane – which was “stuck on the runway” – before disembarking and trying to board another flight.
“I’m trying my best to get to Glasgow,” he said.

Murs later said: “Honestly, you couldn’t write today.
“One of the ladies, one of the cabin crew, fell and hurt herself, which, I hope she’s okay, but it basically delayed our flight even more. So we’re waiting for someone to come in to replace her.”
He described the wait as “very frustrating” before the flight was announced and his show was cancelled.
“I’m extremely devastated, I don’t think I’ve ever missed a show that I can remember, especially of this magnitude.”
Murs later shared a video of him being driven to Glasgow, ready for his Saturday and Sunday performances.
