A CHILD tragically died in a house fire that injured three other young people and a woman.
Crews rushed to a house in Bradford in the early hours of the morning after receiving calls about the inferno.
They fought the fire and rushed three children and a woman to the hospital.
Tragically, another child was found inside the home and pronounced dead at the scene.
Images from the scene showed a two-story home with a broken window on the upper floor.
The paint around the windows on the upper levels appeared darkened by fire and smoke.
Police officers and investigators could be seen walking around the property, and West Yorkshire Police confirmed they are investigating the fire.
The force said: “At 1.08am this morning police were called by the fire service to reports of a serious house fire in Kingsdale Drive, Bradford.
“A woman and three children managed to escape the property and were taken to hospital for treatment.
“A fourth child was found inside the address and was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
“A scene is being set up at the address and police are working with fire investigators to establish the exact cause of the fire.”
West Yorkshire Fire Brigade said: “We were called to reports of a house fire at 1.05am this morning on Kingsdale Drive in Bradford.
“We sent three crews, two from Bradford and one from Shipley.
“Upon arrival, crews used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus. Unfortunately, a fatality was found on the property.
“Fire investigators are working with colleagues from West Yorkshire Police to establish the circumstances.”
