A French citizen has disappeared from a campsite in the Scottish Highlands.

François Remodeau, believed to be in his 60s, was last seen at around 8pm on Sunday.

Police Scotland said he was unable to return to his tent at a campsite in the Faichem Road area, near Invergarry and that concerns were growing for his welfare.

Remodeau, who is said to speak English well, is described as being of medium height and with thinning gray hair.
