Bournemouth: Woman dies after two stabbings on Durley Chine Beach | UK News

A woman has died after being stabbed on a beach in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police were called to reports of two women who had been stabbed on Durley Chine Beach at around 11.45pm on Friday.

A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Both women are believed to be from nearby Poole. His family members were informed.

Police have launched a murder investigation and have cordoned off the beach as they continue to search the area.

No arrests were made.

Superintendent Gavin House said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the woman who tragically lost her life.

“I would urge anyone who saw what happened or has any information about the offender and has not yet spoken to officers to contact us urgently.”
