Are you a little confused about the distant past?
Many parents struggle with their children’s history homework – and a quiz of ten-year-olds based on Year 6 lessons found that many adults have no idea.
One in four did not know when the Battle of Hastings took place and three percent thought the winner was, er, Robin Hood.
The results, analyzed by Trainline, revealed that 23 per cent don’t know which animal carried the Black Death and 40 per cent have no idea who built Hadrian’s Wall.
Samantha Yule asks readers some story questions to find out if they are smarter than a ten-year-old.
