AN intruder who broke into Buckingham Palace claimed he just wanted to pee.
Thuraisingham Kumanaraj climbed over gates to enter the courtyard of the royal residence, a court heard.

He disarmed the security system at 9:30 p.m. and was stopped by police in “about four minutes,” prosecutors said.
He claimed he didn’t know where he was.
However, internet searches on his phone showed that he had researched members of the Royal Family and the Palace.
Last week, Kumanaraj, 52, admitted breaking into a secured location last August.
Prosecutor Frances McCormack told Westminster magistrates: “He claimed in interview that the reason he entered the premises was to urinate and denied knowing that the premises was, in fact, Buckingham Palace.”
Following the raid, Thuraisingham, from Hackney, east London, was also caught urinating outside a primary school in Brick Lane in September.
He then assaulted four police officers, punching one of them in the chin and throat.
Two days later he tried to steal a woman’s purse, grabbing her around the neck and dragging her out of Epping station.
Thuraisingham admitted four counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
He denied it, but was convicted of attempting to steal the bag.
He was banned from going near protected places, received rehabilitation, a suspended prison sentence and was branded for six months.
