An award-winning singer says she was shot in the face with a BB gun “several times”.
Cara Dillon said the projectiles were fired from a vehicle passing through Frome, Somerseton Wednesday night.
The Northern Irish singer said she was fine but “very, very shocked”.
In a post on X, she praised Avon and Somerset Police, who she said were “great”.
She also urged the public to “be vigilant.”

Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers are investigating two reports of individuals being hit by a suspected air gun projectile at Bath Street and Rodden Road in Frome.
“Fortunately, we do not believe anyone was seriously injured or required medical treatment and investigations into the incident are ongoing.”
