The family of a man who died in Edinburgh said they were “shocked and saddened”.
Police were called to Westfield Road in the town at around 12.55pm on Friday following concerns about a man inside a property.
Brian Ramsay, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement released by the Police ScotlandMr Ramsay’s family said: “We are shocked and saddened by his death.
“We ask that we be given privacy to come to terms with our loss at this time.”

A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged over the weekend in connection with Ramsay’s death.
The suspect appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday and made no plea to charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to return to the dock next week.

Detective Inspector David McAlinden said: “Our inquiries into the full circumstances of this incident remain ongoing.
“We would ask anyone who has any information that could help us with the investigation, which has not yet been released, to contact officers as soon as possible.
“Our thoughts are with Mr. Ramsay’s family and friends and we will continue to support them during this difficult time.”
